The black and gray brick gallery
/ Heartland BrickDarkly colored brick brings automatic elegance and a bit of attitude to building designs. Contrasting light-colored mortars make for a James-Bond-in-a-tuxedo look, while mortars tinted to match black or dark gray brick deliver an exotic, monolithic Bond-villain feel. Both mixes can be applied to many styles, but contemporary designs tend be where black and dark gray brick really shine. And speaking of shine, while black and dark gray tones can come in a variety of textures just like more vibrantly colored brick, dark brick with a little sheen seems to be the look of the moment. Dark brick tones also set the ideal backdrop for accents of color that really pop off the black/gray clay canvas.
